Unique to the IL TM30 is its adaptability in installation. Regardless of the size of your kitchen, the system’s installation flexibility ensures a perfect fit. The Puretec IL TM30’s outstanding features extend beyond its sleek design and versatile installation, a topic we’ll delve into next.

Unveiling the Puretec IL TM30

The Puretec IL TM30 water filtration system is more than just a sleek appliance—it’s a powerhouse of purification technology. At its core is the premium grade KDF media, a key component that ensures effective purification of drinking water. The system is designed to reduce a broad spectrum of impurities, actively removing:

  • chlorine

  • sediment

  • bad taste

  • odour

  • heavy metals

Many people prefer to drink water from a separate tap.

The result? Water that not only tastes better but also carries fewer odours and undesirable tastes. Furthermore, the filter system with 3-stage filtration process effectively reduces chlorine and offers additional health protections by decreasing the presence of harmful contaminants such as heavy metals and pesticides, enhancing the safety of your drinking water.

The Science Behind the Filter: Premium Grade KDF Media

The outstanding performance of the Puretec IL TM30 owes much to its premium grade KDF media. This superior component plays an integral role in providing top-notch drinking water filtration. KDF media is specifically effective at reducing a broad range of contaminants, such as:

  • chlorine

  • sediment

  • bad taste

  • odour

  • heavy metals

from water.

Unlike other filtration methods, premium grade KDF media not only targets a variety of pollutants but also improves the overall taste and odour of the water. This means you don’t just get clean water; you get water that tastes just as good as it looks.

Three-in-One Tap Elegance

Simplicity and elegance are hallmarks of the 3-way mixer tap included with the Puretec IL TM30. This unique feature allows for the delivery of filtered water as well as hot and cold water from a single tap. Say goodbye to clutter and hello to streamlined functionality.

Beyond its aesthetic appeal, the 3-way mixer tap also performs at a high level. Offering a flow rate of 7.0 liters per minute, it’s rated 4 stars by WELS for water efficiency. So, whether you’re filling a drinking glass or a large pot for cooking, you can trust that every drop is both pure and perfectly dispensed.

Installation Simplified: Setting Up Your Puretec Water System

While the idea of installing a water filtration system can seem intimidating, the Puretec IL TM30 makes the process surprisingly straightforward. Designed with flexible installation options, the system adapts to different spaces and configurations, making it a perfect fit for any home. It can be mounted either horizontally or vertically, ensuring suitability for various installation environments and making maintenance and operation more efficient.

Moreover, the IL TM30 system comes with a one-year warranty, covering parts and labor for standard installation. This not only gives you peace of mind but also emphasizes the importance of proper installation and maintenance.

Do-It-Yourself Cartridge Replacement

For the upkeep of your Puretec IL TM30, it’s paramount to use only authentic Puretec replacement cartridges. These cartridges are designed to ensure the optimal functioning of your water filter system. But don’t worry, replacing the cartridge isn’t a complicated task. In fact, the IL TM30 system features a user-friendly design that facilitates do-it-yourself cartridge replacement.

The replacement procedure is straightforward, allowing you to easily change cartridges by following the recommended steps. And remember, for a successful cartridge replacement, ensure all safety protocols are followed and use the tools suggested in the manufacturer’s guide.

Ensuring Compatibility: Plumbing Fittings and Kitchen Integration

When integrating an inline undersink water filter system into your existing kitchen setup, compatibility is key. The Puretec IL TM30 excels in this aspect, featuring a slimline design that’s suitable for fitting under the existing kitchen bench. Plus, with its 1/4” Quick Connect connection type and quick connect micron rating, the Puretec IL TM30 allows for straightforward plumbing integration with existing kitchen fixtures, making it easy to filter locate.

Nevertheless, it’s important to remember that an approved pressure limiting device is mandatory for installations where the line pressure exceeds 500 kPa. This is not only to protect your system but also to comply with Australian & New Zealand Plumbing Standards.

Approved Pressure Limiting Device

If your line pressure exceeds 500 kPa, you’ll need an approved pressure limiting device. This device prevents potential damage to the Puretec IL TM30 by maintaining line pressure within safe operational limits. Not only is the approved pressure limiting device essential for protecting your system, but it’s also a requirement for complying with the stipulated Australian & New Zealand Plumbing Standards.

Compliance with these standards is key to ensuring the durability and peak performance of your Puretec IL TM30 system.

Enhancing Rural Water Supplies with Puretec IL TM30

Clean water isn’t just a city luxury. The Puretec IL TM30 water filter system can notably improve water quality in rural areas as well, delivering chlorine-free water straight from the tap. Designed to cater to the needs of both town and rural areas, the Puretec IL TM30 system offers vital flexibility for improving water quality in various geographic locations.

Moreover, the Puretec IL TM30 can be configured either horizontally or vertically, giving users the option to choose the mounting that best fits their space and preferences. This adaptability makes the Puretec IL TM30 an ideal solution for improving rural water supplies.

From Source to Tap: Cleaner Water in Remote Locations

Access to clean water is a significant challenge in remote locations. Rural water supplies often carry contaminants that can affect the taste and safety of the water. But with the Puretec IL TM30, you can enjoy cleaner, chlorine-free water right from your tap, no matter where you live.

The system purifies water directly as it comes from the source, ensuring no contaminants reach the tap. This means cleaner, better-tasting water for you and your family, contributing to better health and wellbeing.

Longevity and Durability in Harsh Conditions

The Puretec IL TM30 is not only efficient but also engineered to last. To prevent freezing damage, the system should be operated within a temperature range of 0 to 38 degrees Celsius. This temperature range ensures the system’s performance in various environments, making it a reliable choice for both urban and rural households.

Whether you live in a cold or hot region, you can trust the Puretec IL TM30 to deliver high-quality water consistently. With its advanced technology and durable design, it’s designed to withstand harsh conditions while providing beautiful tasting drinking water.

Maintenance and Long-Term Care

Proper maintenance of your Puretec IL TM30 system is key to its durability and peak performance. Regular maintenance not only extends the life of your system but also ensures you continue to enjoy high-quality, clean water. For performance you can trust, it’s recommended to use only genuine Puretec replacement cartridges.

Beyond regular maintenance, the Puretec IL TM30 system offers the following benefits:

  • 1-year warranty, covering parts and labor

  • Assurance against functional issues during the first year

  • Emphasis on the importance of proper care and maintenance

Regular Check-Ups: When to Change Your Filter

Understanding when to change your filter is integral to the maintenance of your Puretec IL TM30. The lifespan of the filter kits is determined by its capacity to filter up to 9,500 liters of water. Once it has reached this capacity, it’s time for a replacement to ensure the system continues to function optimally.

Remember, using only a genuine puretec replacement cartridge ensures your system continues to deliver high-quality water. Keep track of your filtered water usage and plan for regular filter replacements to keep your system in peak condition.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

Even superior systems can encounter problems, but the trick lies in knowing how to address them. If you notice a change in water taste, it might be time to check whether the filter cartridge needs replacement or if a system flush is required after cartridge replacement. A sudden drop in water flow rate might indicate a blocked filter cartridge that needs cleaning or replacing.

If you’ve correctly installed the system but are still experiencing low water pressure, it may be necessary to examine if the mains water supply has issues that impact the flow rate. Remember, signs such as an unusual taste or decreased water flow often signal that it’s time for routine maintenance, like checking or replacing the filter.

Summary

Throughout this guide, we’ve explored the many features and benefits of the Puretec IL TM30 water filter system. From its advanced filtration technology to its 3-way mixer tap, the system offers an efficient and convenient solution for improving water quality. Whether you’re in a bustling city or a remote rural area, the Puretec IL TM30 ensures you have access to clean, safe, and great-tasting water right from your tap.
