All online packages are for a like for like, EXTERNAL (outside building lines) replacement of existing installation only and installation fees do not cover relocating the system, upgrades to current standards, electrical supply alterations outside of a standard disconnect/reconnect, upgrades due to insufficient gas, water or power supplies or repairs of any kind outside of the hot water system UNLESS they are included the purchased package.

All electrical hot water systems must be perpendicular to the wall with the electrical connection at the front and centre facing forward. unless a relocation package has been purchased.

ACCESS

Where access is restricted and cannot be completed safely by one person, and has not been disclosed prior to purchase (charges will not apply if access issues have been disclosed prior), an initial additional charge of $120 plus $140 per hour, per staff member, billed in 30-minute increments, will apply to hot water and heat pump installations. This covers situations such as:

  • Any stairs
  • Tight access areas with a width of less than 1 meter or a height of less than 1.8 meters.
  • Units that must be transported through the interior of a dwelling or narrow pathways.
  • Units that need to be moved over retaining walls, through gardens/landscaping, across rocky surfaces, or steep inclines.
  • Systems located on roofs, raised platforms, or off-ground areas requiring special lifting methods.
  • The need for manual, crane, or mechanical lifting to position heavy units such as heat pumps.
  • The removal and reinstatement of fencing, panelling, or screening to provide adequate access.
  • The relocation of the customer’s personal possessions, including furniture, motor vehicles, trailers, and any landscaping features.
  • When stairs are not uniform or land is too steep, necessitating the use of a crane, the additional crane costs will be charged to the customer with a 20% surcharge added to the total crane expense.
  • Inadequate or unstable ground surfaces (e.g., loose gravel, soft grass, uneven terrain) which complicate the transport or positioning of heavy units like heat pumps.
